What is PMDD like?
Please note that symptoms typically begin 1-2 weeks prior to one's menstrual cycle and are typically resolved or lessen with the onset of menstruation. The following list covers a wide range of possible symptoms, but having a few does not ensure you have PMDD. Always check with your doctor first. How is PMDD Diagnosed?
The TWO most vital procedures any doctor will do prior to diagnosing you is:

A complete physical & pelvic exam, as well as a thorough search on the patient's medical history records.

A full mental health evaluation (Based on the past several weeks)
While patients' symptoms may vary, at least 5 of the following of those symptoms MUST be present in order to be eligible for diagnosis:​
Depressed Mood
Concentration Issues
Anger/Irritability
Lack of interest in once enjoyable activities
Insomnia
Feeling Overwhelmed
Bloating, Tenderness, and Headaches
Increased Appetite
